About ME
I’m Swastik — a product designer-in-progress, currently studying at IIT Patna. My journey didn’t begin with pixels or mockups — it started with curiosity. From sketching on paper as a kid to figuring out how websites work behind the scenes, I’ve always been pulled toward both how things look and how they function.
While engineering gave me structure and problem-solving discipline, design gave me space to think freely. Over time, I realized the two don’t need to live apart. Today, I use both — logic and intuition — to design things that are not just nice, but necessary.
I didn’t wait for courses or perfect timing. Most of what I’ve learned came from doing things wrong until they felt right. Self-initiated projects, late-night prototypes, failed layouts, redesigned again.

MY APPROACH & STRATEGY
My design process is rooted in understanding people and simplifying problems. I don’t just chase clean visuals — I chase clarity. Whenever I begin a project, I start with questions:
What’s the real problem?
Who’s struggling with it?
What does "better" actually look like?
Once I have that, I move quickly — wireframes, flows, sketches — testing and building small prototypes to get feedback early. I believe early feedback saves late regret.
